For more than 50 years, the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE)
has been calling attention to the need to educate our young people effectively
in the skills of economics and personal finance and showing how that need can
best be met. This new program, developed by NCEE
and sponsored by The Moody's Foundation, helps to teach the benefits of and strategies for long-term investing success.

About NCEE
The National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) is a nationwide network that
leads in promoting economic literacy with students and their teachers. NCEE's
mission is to help students develop the real-life skills they need to succeed:
to be able to think and choose responsibly as consumers, savers, investors,
citizens, members of the work force, and effective participants in a global
economy.
NCEE secures and administers national programs and grants; promotes national
and state economics standards; publishes classroom materials; offers online
resources; performs research and assessment; and leads, accredits and provides
core resources to its national network of state Councils and university Centers
for Economic Education.
Support & Governance
NCEE secures funds from corporations and associations, agencies of the federal
government, individuals, and public and private foundations to support and deliver
powerful impact programs.
A distinguished, voluntary Board of Directors governs NCEE, with members drawn
from all of NCEE's constituencies. State and local volunteers are also engaged
throughout the NCEE network.
Our Unique Delivery System
In addition to grants provided by NCEE, the affiliated state Councils raise
funds to support their local programs. The university-based Centers in each
state foster professional development of K-12 teachers and show them how to
use NCEE materials effectively. Our 200 Centers conduct research and evaluation
on state standards, teaching methodologies, and outcomes in economic education.
