Foreword

The purpose of this online guide is to help state Councils on Economic Education and university Centers for Economic Education to provide professional development for teachers so they can effectively use the Learning, Earning and Investing curriculum in their classrooms. But the materials here also are useful to teachers. For example, there are seven PowerPoint presentations ready to use in your classroom. Check it out. There's some good stuff here.

Workshop Nuts and Bolts

The WLG contains strategies for recruiting teachers for workshops, sample workshop fliers, sample workshop agendas and an evaluation form.

Sample Agendas

The WLG has a sample agenda for a half-day workshop and for a one-day workshop. Better yet, everything you need to implement these agendas is right on this site. Just point and click and the right PowerPoint show or lesson to be demonstrated will be ready for downloading. This is user-friendly technology.

Use other materials on the LEI Web site in your workshop.
